New director-in-charge for regional housebuilder raises thousands for charity
The new director-in-charge of a North London regional housebuilder is a man of many talents having also raised thousands of pounds for charity.
Karl Endersby is leading the team for Persimmon Homes’ North London region, which has its headquarters in Maidenhead, having previously worked as the technical director for the national housebuilder’s South Coast team.
However, Karl is also a dedicated cyclist who put his hobby to good use raising thousands of pounds for charity.
The 46-year-old took part in the annual Ride London Surrey, which was created as a legacy of the 2012 London Olympics, and joined thousands of amateur riders to cover the 100-mile course
Karl, who has three daughters, raised more than £2,000 for the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), which funds Type 1 diabetes research, as his youngest child suffers from the condition.
He said: “I joined 30,000 other riders for an incredible day that I will never forget and cannot thank supporters and staff at Persimmon Homes enough as they helped me raise money for a cause that is close to my heart.”
He added: “These are exciting times for the North London team as we grow the region. It is a new challenge for me, and I know that we will all support each other with new developments in the pipeline next year.”
