New images issued in Marylebone assault appeal
Detectives investigating an assault in Marylebone are issuing a renewed appeal with new images of a man they would like to identify.
A 23-year-old man was left with life-threatening injuries after he was subject to an unprovoked assault in Bulstrode Street, W1, on Sunday, 19 August at 05.20hrs.
The victim was in St Mary’s hospital for approximately a month recovering from his injuries, which included a fracture to the rear of the skull, bleed on the brain and loss of teeth.
Detectives from Westminster CID investigating the case have issued new images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the attack.
Detective Karl Lewis, from Westminster Borough, said: “This was a completely unprovoked assault on a young man walking home after a night out. Fortunately, the victim has managed to make a full recovery from his physical injuries, however this attack has had a large psychological impact on him.
“I would urge anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV still to do the right thing and call us.”
There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
