The UK’s home of baking, The Big Bakes, is expanding to East London, with the launch of their third baking tent, The Big London Bake East, in Haggerston. This new permanent venue will open to budding bakers and novices alike, on Thursday 24th February. Groups of friends, families, birthday parties, date nights and corporate groups can get together, don an apron and a whisk and start baking some exceedingly good bakes!

This will be the third venue for the company, which has tripled in size since its launch 5 years ago. Entrepreneurs Adam Chaudhri and Eloise Frank set up their immersive baking business back in 2017, with just a £50k start-up loan, and they haven’t looked back since!

Eloise Frank, Co-Founder and winner of the 2019 Natwest Every Woman Artemis Award, said: “We’re delighted to be opening our third site in East London this week! We can’t wait to welcome customers and bring to life our newest baking slice of heaven. Head over and join us for a bit of friendly baking competition, or even just to enjoy some classic or delicious cake-inspired cocktails – everyone’s welcome!”

ABOUT THE BAKING TENT & CAKE THEMED BAR

The Big London Bake East will offer a variety of spaces, including:

A brand new under the arches cake- inspired bar, entered through a fridge door!
Think Apple Pie, BakewellTini and Lemon Meringue Pie cocktails
An outdoor, heated terrace and lawn
A separate private, corporate suite with a built-in baking bench,, for those looking for incentive sessions for employees, unique meeting facilities or filming opportunities
…and the main event, the baking tent, with 12 fully equipped baking stations, including equipment from AEG and Kenwood, with all ingredients ready for masterpiece cakes to be created!
