New launch for Foundry Gym: on the hour PT sessions
Known for its no-nonsense, trainer-led approach, Foundry delivers 50-minute personal training sessions, on the hour, every hour, with no mirrors or mobiles on the gym floor. The new 5,000 sq. ft. space continues the brand’s mission to make elite coaching accessible in a premium, functional and friendly space.
Among its members is Ben Shephard, who credits Foundry in part for his recent transformation at 50. The gym has been named Best Fitness Facility at the 2023 London Lifestyle Awards and is called “one of the best places to train” by GQ.
Foundry’s approach is built around team-based training, capped at six people per session, with a focus on community over competition. The 21-Day Challenge trial is available for £229, with monthly memberships starting from £250.
Founded in Vauxhall in 2016 by ex-professional rugby player, and executive Head Coach Ben Gotting, a still prominent figure on the gym floor, and fitness industry leader and CEO Jean-Claude Vacassin, Foundry operates sites in Aldgate, Bank, North Kensington, Old Street, Richmond, Crowborough, and its original Vauxhall location.
“Our approach is simple. It’s not about flexing or ego – Foundry is a place for everyone, regardless of ability,” says Jean Claude Vacassin. “It’s about building strength in every sense, and confidence, in a space that is fun but focussed, where everyone is welcome. 7 Moorgate will be our biggest Gym yet, with separate personal training and class studios. Physios will also be available.”
