New London Councils’ venture Advice Aid has been hailed a success!

London Ventures, a joint partnership between EY and London Councils, aims to harness private sector innovations to help provide solutions for London local authorities.

One such venture partner is Advice Aid, who help local authorities meet their advice-giving duties under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 by providing an easy to use online database of advice snippets covering tenant rights, benefits, eviction and more.

AdviceAid aims to help local authorities meet their advice- giving duties under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. It provides an easy to use online database of advice snippets covering tenant rights, benefits, eviction and more. The advice snippets are written and updated by experts from Shelter, but local authorities can add their own content tailored to their specific regional context. AdviceAid is designed to work alongside and complement existing case management systems.
