Locals of Harrow are in for a treat next month, as brand-new pub, The George, is set to open its doors on 4th November following a massive £240,000 investment.

Located on Station Road, not only has the venue undergone a complete overhaul and been transformed into a cosy pub with a mix of leather and fabric upholstery, but residents will also notice the name change from ‘The Harrow’ to ‘The George’, in order to be in keeping with its local surroundings, with the St George’s shopping centre and church located nearby.

The new and improved pub will host one of the best sports offerings in the area, with a dedicated TV screen wall that will allow customers to catch all the live action including English and international football, rugby, cricket and much more! Customers seeking fewer distractions can book a private booth with an individual screen.

The drinks menu features a range of premium draught beer and Cask Ales, as well as a creative range of spirits, including Hendrick’s Summer Solstice, Beefeater Blood Orange and Verano Watermelon gin. There are also party bowls and a selection of cocktails including the famous Pornstar Martini, classic Singapore Sling and a refreshing Mojito. Low and no-alcohol choices have also been added, including Gordon’s Ultra Low G&T and Cedar’s 0% gin.

The pub’s food menu will also offer a tempting selection too. Guests can now build their own burgers, starting with double, triple or quadruple chicken, beef or soya patties and adding toppings such as classic cheese and bacon, BBQ sauce and Wotsits or Hot Buffalo sauce and crispy onions amongst others. There are also juicy chicken wings and dishes to share with friends, as well as pub classics like pies or fish & chips. An extended range of Vegetarian and plant-based dishes has been added, including meat-free tikka masala and meat-free sausage rolls!

Every day of the week sees a different food offer from Wingin’ It Mondays and burger & drink Tuesdays, to Best of British Friday and delicious Sunday dinners.
