NFL Announces Schedule for 2025 International Games
The National Football League today announced the schedule for the 2025 International Games that will be played across Europe in London, U.K., Dublin, Ireland, Berlin, Germany and Madrid, Spain — as part of the league’s long-term commitment to global expansion, driving year-round engagement in international markets.
Back-to-back weekends in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium — the only purpose-built NFL stadium outside of the U.S. — the Cleveland Browns will take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Oct. 5, followed by the New York Jets v. the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Oct. 12. These games will be the 40th and 41st regular season games played in the capital.
The third and final game in London will feature the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Los Angeles Rams at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 19. This will be the 14th game in the capital for the Jaguars, as part of the team’s multi-year commitment to playing games in the U.K.
The 2025 NFL London games will also be presented by the NFL’s global Official Intelligent Data Infrastructure partner, NetApp.
Prior to the first international game in London this season, on Sunday, Sept. 28, the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Minnesota Vikings at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland in the country’s first-ever regular season NFL game — which sees the team play two consecutive games internationally.
“The 2025 NFL London Games will deliver another unforgettable football experience for fans in the U.K., with game one of the series marking the milestone 40th game in the capital, ” said General Manager of NFL U.K. & Ireland Henry Hodgson. “With two exciting matchups at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and one at Wembley Stadium, we’re building on nearly two decades of NFL history in London. The interest in our game globally has never been stronger, and we look forward to welcoming NFL teams and fans from around the world to London once again.”
“Our experiences in London have always been memorable, so to return in 2025 as the first team to play in back-to-back international games in different countries was something we could not pass up,” said Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf. “U.K. fans have a history of showing up and embracing the Minnesota Vikings, creating what often feels like a homefield environment, and we are hopeful that is what we see again in 2025.”
“The Broncos are thrilled to represent our fans and the NFL overseas in the 2025 NFL London Games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against the Jets,” said Broncos President Damani Leech. “Broncos Country has no borders, and we join the NFL in sharing a deep commitment to growing the game on a global stage. After having such a wonderful experience in London a few years ago, we can’t wait to return to the United Kingdom to engage with such passionate fans and build on the Broncos’ proud international history.”
“We’re excited to return to London this October to help drive the NFL’s continued growth on the international stage,” said Los Angeles Rams President Kevin Demoff. “Kroenke Sports and Entertainment is one of the largest sports and entertainment organizations in the world and growing the Rams footprint globally is a key priority for our team, whether through year-round engagement across our seven global markets or playing abroad. We look forward to facing the Jaguars in a world-class environment like Wembley Stadium, the national stadium of England, which will be a memorable experience for our players, coaches, and fans.”
Beyond the international games taking place this year in London, the league is committed to growing the game at every level in the U.K. engaging with fans year-round through partners, programs and initiatives, including NFL Flag.
The Vikings also hold marketing rights in the U.K., as part of the league’s Global Markets Program — an initiative that awards NFL clubs international marketing rights to build brand awareness and fandom beyond the U.S., through fan engagement, events and commercial opportunities.
The 2025 NFL International Games will continue in Berlin, Germany for the first time, with the Indianapolis Colts hosting the Atlanta Falcons at the Olympic Stadium Berlin on Sunday, Nov. 9. The 2025 Berlin game is part of the NFL’s commitment to playing regular season games across Germany and will be the fifth regular season game in the market, with the league having previously played games in Munich and Frankfurt.
The 2025 international slate will culminate in Madrid, Spain on Sunday, Nov.16 with the Miami Dolphins taking on the Washington Commanders at the Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid C.F., in the league’s first-ever regular season game in Spain.
Seven games will be played internationally across the 2025 season, with the Los Angeles Chargers kicking off the International Games Week 1 on Friday, Sept. 5 in São Paulo, Brazil at Corinthians Arena. The opponent for this game will be announced on May 14, with the full 2025 NFL schedule release.
