Oakfield Preparatory School in West Dulwich has recently received an ‘Excellent’ rating from the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) – the highest possible rating – for an inspection carried out in November 2022.

In their report the ISI highlighted the excellent academic and personal development of children at Oakfield. They found ‘pupils show high levels of achievement in relation to their abilities and make strong progress across all ages’ and “have an excellent attitude towards their learning and work with high levels of engagement in their lessons”.

Mrs Moyra Thompson, Head of Oakfield Prep, remarked, “I am immensely proud to lead the Oakfield community and I am delighted the ISI identified the many strengths across our wonderful school. Their findings stand testament to the brilliant teaching, facilities and outcomes achieved by Oakfield Prep and its pupils”.

Mrs Wendy Nicholson, Head of Early Years, commented, “this report combined with our fantastic Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFSP) results and the final refurbishment works being done in our Pre-Prep playground mean we have so much to look forward to in 2023 and beyond”.

Oakfield Prep will be holding Open Mornings for prospective families on March 14th and May 4th.
