OBLIX AT THE SHARD PARTNERS WITH FABLE WHISKY FOR FATHER’S DAY
Oblix at The Shard have partnered with the renowned Fable Whisky – producers of a unique range of whiskies from across Scotland’s most acclaimed and lesser-known distilleries – to host an exclusive event for Father’s Day. Featuring an exceptionally crafted menu and innovative cocktails, with panoramic views of London’s iconic skyline, this exclusively curated evening is not to be missed for whisky-loving dads and foodies alike.
Located on the 32nd floor of The Shard, Oblix is a sophisticated and contemporary restaurant, bar and lounge split into two beautifully styled spaces.
Father’s Day Whisky Set Menu in collaboration with Fable Whisky – Sunday 16th June
In celebration of Father’s Day, Oblix West, a refined space which welcomes guests with a glimpse of the action as they pass by the open kitchen’s wood-fired oven, filled with baking artisan flatbreads, and the Josper grills deliver the smokey, charcoal flavours for which Oblix is known.
Serving the same limited edition whisky-inspired menu, each table will be welcomed with a selection of canapés and a choice of three much-loved whisky based cocktails as they admire sweeping views of London’s landmarks from St Paul’s Cathedral to Westminster’s Big Ben and on to Battersea Power Station. Guests will be served a 3-course menu of bone marrow beef tartare, Oblix’s signature flame grilled, cedar smoked black cod, with the meal completed by the rich pecan chocolate bar served with whisky ice-cream made with Fable’s Chapter Six: Crows whisky, distilled at Blair Athol.
Throughout the meal, diners have the opportunity to taste three of Fable Whisky’s blends, all distilled at towns across Scotland: Chapter Eleven: Ghost, distilled at Glen Elgin, Chapter Two: Folk, distilled at Linkwood and Chapter Five: Hound, distilled at Mannochmore.
