OFFICE SPACE GROUP INCREASES INVESTMENT IN PRIME LONDON LOCATIONS AFTER DEMAND SURGE

Leading central London office space provider WorkPad has seen a surge in demand as British businesses look to return workforces into more flexible office arrangements in the Capital post-COVID.

As a result, Workpad announced today that it will be launching its new managed office brand WorkPad HQ, introducing a number of new prime and luxury properties across London to meet its predicted growth this year. WorkPad is now able to offer tailored luxury office spaces in 35 prime London locations.

To support its expansion, WorkPad has undertaken a major rebrand and is working closely with its partner landlords to reinvest in its portfolio, providing businesses with the facilities required in a post COVID era. WorkPad has also launched a new company website, making it easier for businesses to find their ideal office.

“Our ability to offer clients private office spaces tailored to their individual requirements, with the flexibility to expand or contract as needed, is absolutely

key,” said WorkPad’s CEO, Edward Griffin. “As businesses emerge from lockdown, they are looking for flexible contract terms whilst maintaining a presence in the capital and we are ready to respond to their changing needs.”

“We have been swift to react to the move away from traditional corporate office spaces. We are seeing that businesses are now looking to create a bespoke working environment that is truly theirs, where collaboration is king, and the environment fit for purpose,” Griffin said.

The company, which launched in 2014 and quickly built up a prime London office portfolio, has succeeded in retaining an occupancy rate of over 70 percent despite the many challenges faced by the commercial property industry over the past year.

The success of the business can also be attributed to its customer-centric approach during lockdown. When the pandemic hit, WorkPad worked with its tenants to understand their individual challenges and supported them with viable and flexible solutions. All offices remained open during lockdown, with strict cleaning and social distancing measures in place in order to maintain a healthy environment for key workers and help businesses continue to thrive, despite the global crisis.
