OKTOBERFEST RETURNS TO BETWEEN THE BRIDGES
After a series of sell-out shows last Autumn, Oktoberfest is returning to Between The Bridges for 2022. The unique riverside venue on the South Bank just next to the London Eye will host Oktoberfest events in its indoor German Beer Hall-style venue on the evenings of September 23rd and 24th.
Live entertainment will come in the form of 10-piece drum and brass powerhouse, Old Dirty Brasstards and Massaoke, the mass karaoke phenomenon, which features a live band. On DJ duties on both nights are Between The Bridges resident DJs Guilty Pleasures who promise “the greatest pop night the world has ever known”.
Expect lots of dancing, mass singalongs with people waving their steins in the air, plenty of beer and nobody taking themselves too seriously. The food traders at Between The Bridges will also be switching up their menus for the weekend to offer sensational street food with a Teutonic twist.
“Everybody had a fantastic time at our Oktoberfest events last year, so we knew we had to put them on again in 2022.” says Between The Bridges director and co-founder Marcus Weedon. “In fact, when we were building our new purpose-built indoor venue, The Pier, at the beginning of the year, we were doing so very much with Oktoberfest in mind. It’s a perfect spot for it.”
Early Bird Tickets including a two-pint stein of beer are on sale now for just £20 from www.betweenthebridges.co.uk. Stein-less tickets are also available for £14.
