Order whatever you want (literally) on Gorillas for one week only

To mark the birthday milestone and celebrate one year of delivering whatever London wants, Gorillas is offering its customers the chance to buy whatever they want (literally) through the app.

Challenging its customers to think outside the box, Gorillas will deliver any item money can buy for one week only. Whether you’re looking to grow your music collection with a new vinyl record, kit out your home with the latest smart speaker or have a staycation in your back garden with an inflatable pool, Gorillas is giving customers anything they want, all for the price of a Gorillas order*.

All customers need to do to get in on the action is place an order via the app, use the promo code ‘WHATEVER’ and head to the delivery instructions to request whatever their heart desires – providing it’s a single item under £400. You’ll have to hurry though, as the competition is only open to 250 entries, with eight lucky winners selected at random to receive the item of their choice, delivered directly to their doorsteps by Gorillas.

As Gorillas celebrates its first UK birthday, the delivery app is also taking a look back at all the deliveries they’ve supplied shoppers with over the last year through its new ‘Whatever London Wants’ campaign – with provocative slogans popping up around the capital. From delivering over 135,008 avocados to hungry Londoners to almost 2,500 deliveries of condoms, Gorillas has been there to answer its customers’ needs at (almost) every hour of the day.

Since launching in London, Gorillas has delivered a whopping eight million products to consumers. Lambeth takes the crown as London’s leading borough for number of orders placed on the app, with one individual setting the record for number of purchases in just one day – 18 times in 24 hours. For the curious, their orders included 32 Kit Kat Chunky Peanut Butter chocolate bars, 8 boxes of Birds Eye Fish Fingers and 10 packs of toilet tissue.

And, Gorillas know that not every London borough has the same ordering habits. It may not be a surprise that Hackney orders more avocados than any other area, whilst Harringay orders almost ten times more cat food than dog food across the borough. Kensington & Chelsea have been popping off over the last year – ordering 120% more champagne than the rest of the capital.

The ‘Whatever London Wants’ advertising campaign from Gorillas is live now, and loyal customers will be able to order WHATEVER they want via the app from Monday 11th April until midnight Friday 15th April.
