PERFECTTED IS THROWING LONDON A GIANT FREE BIRTHDAY PARTY TO CELEBRATE THE UK’S MOST COMMON BIRTHDAY

If your birthday falls on 26th September, you’re in good company. The date has historically been identified as the most common birthday in the UK, according to ONS data, so PerfectTed is turning it into an excuse for a giant London celebration.

On Thursday 24th September, PerfectTed will take over Observation Point on London’s South Bank for a completely free birthday party, complete with cake, matcha, giveaways and a giant birthday cake installation overlooking the Thames.

And there is an extra birthday present for anyone actually born on the big day. The first 100 guests who can show that their birthday falls on 26th September will each receive a whole bento birthday cake from Lola’s and a PerfectTed birthday gift set, complete with a matcha bowl, whisk and pouch of Birthday Cake matcha, completely free, which is worth the value of £50.

For everyone else, there is still plenty of cake to go around. The first 400 guests will receive a free Lola’s and PerfectTed goodie bag, including a pouch of the brand’s new Birthday Cake flavoured matcha powder.

PerfectTed will also be serving its brand new ceremonial grade Birthday Cake flavoured matcha latte powder, freshly whisked and free while stocks last, giving visitors an exclusive first taste before it lands in Sainsbury’s on the 28th September.

The celebration comes as PerfectTed prepares to launch its newest flavour, Birthday Cake Matcha, which brings the nostalgic flavours of birthday cake to the brand’s signature matcha powder. Guests at the event will be among the first to try it ahead of its launch in Sainsbury’s from 28th September. The party also coincides with PerfectTed’s fifth birthday, celebrating five years of growth since launch, including a memorable appearance on Dragons’ Den in 2023, and now the UK’s fastest-growing retail brand.

Marisa Poster, co-founder of PerfectTed, said: “Turning five is such a special moment for PerfectTed, and we wanted to celebrate it in a way that feels completely us: big, joyful and centred around bringing people together. This event is all about saying thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey so far, and what better way to do that than with cake, matcha and a huge party in London?”
