Pizza Pilgrims has announced their newest guest pizza: a collaboration with Hackney favourite Lagom and their signature dish – The Lagom smash burger. The Lagom Burger Pizza will be available from 1st July to 28th July in all Pizza Pilgrims pizzerias.

The Lagom smash burger, known for its top-notch quality beef and smoke-crisped edges, has been transformed into a Neapolitan pizza for one month only, priced at £14.75. This pizza starts with the winning combo of Pizza Pilgrims 48-hour proved, fluffy crusted base and fior di latte with the addition of dry-aged Dexter ground beef at a 60/40 meat-to-fat ratio. Finished with the subtle hot and sweet mustardy mayo that Lagom is known for and a crisp, tangy vinegar slaw.

Elliot Cunningham, Lagom’s founder and longtime friend of Pizza Pilgrims, met brothers and co-founders Thom and James during their street food days at Berwick Street Market – he was one of the first chefs on the three-wheeled Piaggio Ape slinging pizzas come rain or shine. Thom and James are huge fans of Elliot’s Lagom smash burger, which has earned rave reviews in the London food scene The guys have worked together to come up with the ultimate pizza burger creation to bring you a smashing dish that celebrates the best of both.
