Police are appealing for assistance to help trace a vulnerable missing man from Stoke Newington.

James Howson, 86, was reported missing after leaving his home address at around 15:00hrs on Friday, 29 June.

Mr Howson suffers from dementia which can leave him in a confused state and officers are concerned for his welfare.

He is a black man, approximately 5ft 8inches tall, of medium build and walks with a shuffle. When last seen Mr Howson was wearing grey trousers, black socks and slippers and ‘golfer’s’ hat.

He is known to travel on buses and sit at random bus stops.
