Police investigating the murder of 46-year-old Iderval da Silva in Battersea have charged two more people with his murder.

A 16-year-old male [D] was arrested and charged on Wednesday, 5 June. He appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 6 June and was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, 10 July.

A 17-year-old male [E] was arrested and charged with murder on Thursday, 6 June and will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 7 June.

Previously, [C] Jaden Richards, 19 (13.01.00), of Strasburg Road, Wandsworth, was charged with murder on the evening of Friday, 31 May. He appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 1 June and has been remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey (date awaits).

A 16-year-old male [B] appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 31 May charged with murder. He appeared at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 4 June and has been remanded in custody (next appearance date awaits).

A 16-year-old male  [A] was arrested near to the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm on the day of the incident. He was taken to a west London police station and has been released under police investigation.

Police were called to Charlotte Despard Avenue, SW11, at 16.32hrs on Saturday, 25 May.

Officers attended and found a 46-year-old man suffering a head injury. London Ambulance Service attended and the man was taken to hospital. He died in hospital on Tuesday, 28 May.

The victim has been named as Brazilian national, Iderval da Silva, aged 46.

A post-mortem examination was held and revealed the cause of death as a head injury.
