Londoners can now secure their spot at Poolhouse, the city’s newest destination for elevated social play, as bookings officially open ahead of its highly anticipated launch this March at 100 Liverpool Street.
From the team behind Topgolf and Puttshack, Poolhouse brings together good old-fashioned hospitality with game-changing AI technology to reimagine the classic game of pool for a new generation of players, socialisers, and experience seekers.
Design & Interiors
Spanning 21,000 sq. ft across two floors and featuring 20 full-sized tables, the venue is designed for guests who want more from a night out. Step inside and enter a world of retro glamour, where classic pool halls meet vintage Las Vegas.
To bring this vision to life, Poolhouse partnered with multi-award-winning Ellis Design Studio, who have created a seamless, elevated interior that balances nostalgia with innovation. Layered materials, tactile finishes and integrated technology sit side-by-side to deliver a venue that feels both intimate and high-energy.
“The design for Poolhouse has been inspired by the authenticity of traditional pool halls and gritty dive bars contrasted against the iridescent, shimmering allure of vintage Vegas. The design represents a carefully curated blend of grit and glamour, reflecting the universal appeal of this iconic game across the social spectrum.
The Studio was absolutely honoured to be hand-picked by Steve and Dave Jolliffe, who are titans in the industry, to help bring this incredibly special flagship project to life”. Alan Ellis, MD at Ellis Design Studio

Poolhouse is home to 20 private and semi-private play suites, each designed to feel immersive, distinctive and deeply atmospheric. Drawing on the character of vintage motels and classic pool halls, the interiors strike a deliberate balance between grit and glamour, with hand-painted walls, distressed wallpapers, bespoke carpets and large-scale murals creating spaces that feel cinematic yet intimate.
Every table is crowned with a custom three-tier chandelier, housing the venue’s cutting-edge game technology within sculptural lighting features. These glowing centrepieces discreetly project immersive gameplay directly onto the table surface below, a striking fusion of craftsmanship and innovation.
ip and innovation.
