Popular London-based pet shop joins Uber Eats

A popular London pet shop has joined the Uber Eats app, allowing customers to order a range of products, including food, for their pet via the app.

Dr Doolittles 2 is the first pet shop to join the Uber Eats platform and customers are now able to order tasty treats for their four-legged friends for delivery.

The pet store has a wide variety of products available, from a selection of cat and dog food to pet toys, dog collars, harnesses, leads, dog treats and pet accessories. Ordering via Uber Eats is the perfect option for those without a car to get the bulky bags of pet food delivered directly to their door.

To order, customers can select the product they want via Uber Eats, and it will be delivered to their door, contact-free, in an average time of 30 minutes.

Sunjiv Shah, General Manager of Uber Eats in the UK, said: “The addition of a pet shop to Uber Eats is just the latest expansion beyond restaurants for the app. We have a wide selection available for humans, ranging from supermarkets and grocery stores to restaurants and cafes, so we thought it was about time we catered to our furry friends.”

Stefano, owner of Dr Doolittles 2, said: “We’re delighted to be the first pet shop to launch on the Uber Eats app. This service is ideal for anyone who’s ran out of dog food or would like to treat their pet to a new toy. Simply hop on the app and have whatever your pet needs delivered to your door in 30 minutes.”
