Powfu announces UK shows for October 2023
Lo-fi hip hop sensation Powfu is heading to Europe this autumn, with three very special UK shows in London, Birmingham and Manchester taking place in October. Tickets for all shows go on sale at 10am on Friday 24th here, with presales starting Wednesday 22nd March.
After several years contributing to the lo-fi hip-hop scene on YouTube, Powfu emerged from a small town outside of Vancouver, Canada, and established himself as a key player in bringing the lo-fi genre into the mainstream.
His breakout hit “death bed (coffee for your head)” featuring beabadoobee took over the globe in 2020 and fueled Powfu to become one of the only Canadian artists to have a song reach 1 billion streams on Spotify. The song has gone platinum in 29 countries including the USA (5x), UK, France, Italy (2x), and Ireland (4x).
To date, the 23-year-old artist (born Isaiah Faber) has amassed over 4 billion worldwide streams and 900M video views across his vast catalog of 9 EPs and 1 album. Along the way, he has collaborated with many incredible artists such as Travis Barker, Blink-182, Jaden Smith, PinkPantheress, Alec Benjamin, DVBBS, MAY-A, gucci highwaters and more.
His constant stream of new releases show Powfu’s evolution while still staying true to his signature sound, melodious versatility, and relatable lyricism. Look out for Powfu’s upcoming EP tell me your feelings and i won’t tell you mine pt. 2, releasing on Friday 31st March on Powfu’s 24th birthday.
