A pair of Palmers Green sisters, Tanya and Lauren Seifert, 33 and 30, have made it through to the grand final of Mecca Bingo’s national search for a star, despite one of the duo being 8 months pregnant. The judges of the regional heat of ‘Mecca Bingo’s Got Talent’ were wowed with a jaw-dropping acrobatic routine by the self-taught ‘Seifert Sisters’ and immediately hit the ‘golden buzzer’ in their initial heat, sending them straight to the final showdown, taking place at Mecca Bingo’s stylish new Luton club on Saturday night (21 May).

The Seifert Sisters first fell in love with all things acrobatic at university, where they got hooked on the intense workout and intricate moves of pole fitness. From there, the pair started developing their own routines, inspired by videos on YouTube and Instagram, and continue to perform with Tanya, now eight months pregnant. They dedicate their incredible performances to their Ghanian heritage and to proving the strength of women – particularly that of mothers – to show that they can achieve their dreams.

Lauren Seifert commented on getting through to the final of Mecca Bingo’s Got Talent: “Knowing you’re in the final is an amazing feeling. What started as a hobby has become our jobs, and we feel so lucky to be showing the world our talent, particularly whilst Tanya is pregnant – it’s a real testament to how incredible our bodies are.”

After six weeks of scouring the nation for the hottest acts, Mecca Bingo’s Got Talent will culminate in a live final at Mecca’s Celebrity Love Bingo Ball on Saturday 21st May. Six acts will compete for the coveted title, appearing on the bill at Mecca Bingo Luton, alongside chart topper Pixie Lott, Ray Quinn and Jaymi from Union J. The winner’s prize includes £5,000, tickets to the Britain’s Got Talent final, an introduction to a talent agent and a paid tour of Mecca Bingo venues to kick start their career.
