Primary school pupils sing at Downe Village Hall’s Warm Welcome event
Pupils from Downe Primary School in Bromley, part of The Pioneer Academy Trust, were delighted to perform to the local community recently as part of Downe Village Hall’s Warm Welcome event.
25 pupils from Years 3-6 joined the day of fun on Friday 15th March. The children sang a selection of Spring and Easter songs from the ‘Out of the Ark’ website, including a song called Easter Jubilation.
Pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Betsi, a pupil from Downe Primary School, said:
“It was very fun to sing to a different audience we had never met and be able to sing with my friends out of school.”
Isla, a pupil from Downe Primary School, said:
“I saw lots of happy faces which made us happy to be there.”
Rebecca Dolan, Headteacher at Downe Primary School, said:
“This was a lovely opportunity for the children to perform and entertain the local community, enjoying themselves while developing their confidence.
“I am proud of how well they represented the school. Well done everyone!”
