Producer S-Type has released the video for ‘Fetch’

S-Type has released the video for ‘Fetch’ directed by Inkke

Scottish producer S-Type AKA Bobby Perman returned in late 2019 with his S-Type Beat EP. Having spent the last few years focusing on studio projects with other artists the new EP really put S-Type back in the club with 6 new tracks showing different sides of his sound. Modern DAW production paired with the triumphant energy of prime-era Just Blaze/Heatmakerz. In 2020 S-Type has lots of new music dropping.

Inkke is part of the second wave of LuckyMe artists – having released 2 EP projects on the label – Secret Palace (2016) and Lil Plasma (2018) – as well as a huge amount of music independently. Representing a true DIY spirit he is also an accomplished visual artist – creating prints, zine, sculptures and collages on a regular basis. He has often provided the visuals for his own music and complulsively documents his life and friends within the Glasgow skate/music scenes. He recently collaborated with Nike on a short film as part of their Basement/ Glasgow Air Max Campaign.

For the Fetch Video he has paired the kinetic dancefloor energy of the original into a warped dayglo tour around Glasgow – pairing the influences of S-Types youth in Edinburgh with where he lives now. Snatches of Disney, Dipset and Larry Clark imagery pop up within the fast paced animation amongst the layers of crude video footage and city scenes. It’s a sharp contrast to the slicker fashion stylings of his recent Adi Helfin directed video for Waiting.

S-Type Beat is Out Now on LuckyMe Records on Digital and Limited Edition Vinyl.
