Queer Britain Take Over Canopy Market, King’s Cross for Pride 2023

The UK’s first and only LGBTQI+ museum, Queer Britain (https://queerbritain.org.uk) is taking over part of King’s Cross’ Canopy Market (https://canopymarket.co.uk) to host a 3-day Queer Market this Pride Month.

Ten Queer vendors will join Queer Britain from Friday, 9th June to Sunday, 11th June to sell their original artwork, jewellery, ceramics, wine, coffee and all-around wonderful goods. Come visit us under the canopy to support some wonderful queer creatives and celebrate Pride 2023.

Queer Britain is a charity and LGBTQ+ museum. It is an essential place for all regardless of sexuality or gender identity, to find out about the culture they have been born into, have chosen or seek to understand. Queer people have impacted every part of culture, yet all too often their lives have been written in the margins of history books. Queer Britain believe that queer people’s stories should be understood by all and celebrated in all their rich diversity in their own, dedicated home.

Under a Victorian steel and glass roof in the heart of King’s Cross, Canopy are bringing a historic market hall back to life. Individually sourcing, selecting and supporting independent producers, Canopy Market brings together fresh produce, artisan food, designer-makers and artists alongside street food, craft drinks and music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Canopy Market is located at West Handyside Canopy
London N1C 4BH and is open 12pm-8pm on Fridays and 11am-6pm on weekends; Queer Britain is located right around the corner at 2 Granary Square, London, N1C 4BH and is open Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm – 6pm.
