RAAZ celebrates its first Diwali with a three-course feast
Newly opened RAAZ, the modern Indian restaurant on Putney’s Lower Richmond Road, will mark its first Diwali this October with a week-long celebration centred around flavour, warmth, and community.
From Tuesday 21st to Sunday 27th October, RAAZ marks its first Diwali with a three-course feast (£39.99pp) from Chef Patron Imran Mansuri, whose career includes positions at some of London’s most lauded Indian restaurants, including Tamarind, Benares, Jamavar, Kolamba, and Annabel’s.
The menu blends cult comfort dishes with house signatures and a few chef’s secrets thrown in: think rich Butter Chicken, Kadai Prawns, and Grilled Pumpkin Moilee, all served with dal makhani, basmati rice and naan, followed by house-made Mango Kulfi.
True to its name, raaz means “secret” in Hindi, the restaurant will be lit entirely by candlelight, casting a warm glow across its walnut-panelled dining room, floral wallpaper and tucked-away corners.
