A new fitness festival is set to take over London’s iconic Old Billingsgate from 25-27 September, transforming the historic riverside venue into a three-day event featuring fitness racing, live DJs, food and drink vendors, family activities and community-led workouts overlooking Tower Bridge.
Flatout, one of the UK’s fastest-growing fitness racing events, is making its London debut and has been designed to be as entertaining for spectators as it is for competitors. Alongside races for individuals, doubles, relay teams and junior athletes, the event is introducing a new “SideKicks” category, allowing adults and children to race together.
Unlike traditional fitness competitions, visitors can attend for the atmosphere alone, with live entertainment, giveaways, pop-up stalls and activities taking place throughout the weekend.
The event will also see elite athletes tackle the course wearing weighted vests, adding an extra challenge to the competition.
Founder Adam Smith said: “We wanted to create something that feels welcoming, exciting and community-driven, whether you’re racing, supporting friends and family, or simply coming along for the atmosphere. Old Billingsgate is the perfect venue for our London debut and gives us the opportunity to create an event that feels like much more than a race.”
The event is partnering with The Feathers Association, with complimentary places being provided for young people supported by the charity and a percentage of ticket sales donated to support its work.
Dates: 25-27 September 2026
