Acting legends Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton and Harris Dickinson joined director Matthew Vaughn to celebrate the opening of The King’s Man Tavern pop-up pub in Soho, London.

The group assembled in front of the newly branded pub on Brewer Street in London alongside an outfit of dapper gentlemen and women dressed in iconic 3-piece suits and bowler hats, complete with yellow umbrellas, inspired by new film The King’s Man.

The activity is part of a series of sophisticated and stylish stunts taking over the UK’s capital, with more to come throughout the day. The series of events mark the arrival of the new movie, The King’s Man, which sees its World Premiere take place in London’s Leicester Square this evening, the film opens in cinemas nationwide on 26 December.

On Sunday evening The London Eye was lit up in celebration of The King’s Man franchise; through the use of state-of-the-art AI technology, the iconic logo of The King’s Man shown bright across the carousel.

The day of activity kicked off with an impressive projection display held at the world’s most renowned military academy, The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst which saw the Old College Building illuminated by the film franchise logo.

On Monday morning Londoners were transported back in time today as a group of Dapper Gentlemen and Women landed in London in style alongside a World War 1 style Sopwith Pup Biplane.

The dapper group, dressed in iconic 3-piece suits and bowler hats complete with gold umbrellas inspired by The King’s Man, assembled in front of a striking World War 1 fighter plane set to a backdrop of London’s iconic landmark, Tower Bridge.

City workers and cyclists looked on in surprise as the hoard of gents and ladies were also spotted at various locations across the capital including Millennium Bridge, Waterloo Station and Covent Garden.

The King’s Man Tavern in Soho opened its doors today for a series of themed activities that will unfold during the course of the day. The branded pub will open its doors to members of the public on Tuesday.

The King’s Man is a prequel to the much-loved action movies, Kingsman: Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and follows a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds as they gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, and one man’s race against time to stop them, sparking the origin of The Kingsman.

The eagerly anticipated prequel to The Kingsman film franchise, starring Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Dijmon Hounsou and Tom Hollander is set in early 1900s London as the world’s superpowers England, Russia and Germany clash heads on the brink of World War 1.

The movie chronicles the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King’s Man, as they fight to protect the world from a consortium of evil henchmen lead by an anonymous villain.

The King’s Man World Premiere takes place tonight at Cineworld and The Odeon in Leicester Square, and opens in cinemas nationwide from December 26.
