Rectory Court to Host Free Sessions with Record-Breaking Adventurer Louis Alexander in Blackheath

Rectory Court is opening its doors to local community members, residents, friends and families for inspiring sessions by professional adventurer Louis Alexander.

The home will host two free sessions titled ‘An Audience with Louis Alexander’. Guests will gain a unique insight into the profound physical and mental demands of elite endurance adventuring, as Louis explores the mindset and mental resilience required to persevere through his global expeditions.

Louis, a 26‑year‑old adventurer, serves as a Brand Ambassador for his headline sponsor, Cinnamon Care Collection. He is uniquely recognised as the only person to have run marathons across all seven continents and completed marathon‑distance swims across all seven seas, achievements he dedicates to his grandfather, who lived with dementia for 17 years.

To help raise vital funds for Race Against Dementia, he is now kicking off his most perilous expedition yet: a world‑first attempt to kayak seven of the planet’s most dangerous ocean crossings, each notorious for violent currents and extreme weather. This challenge marks the final instalment of his “Trilogy of the Seven,” as he continues his mission to raise £1 million for dementia research over the next four years.
