RETIREMENT DONE RIGHT BY NORFOLK COUPLE AT CRINGLEFORD HEIGHTS
After securing the ideal home for their retirement, a couple in Norfolk have discovered that the next stage of their life will continue to bring joy and happiness, this time in a fresh setting.
Nigel (66) and Barbara (55) Stone, have recently made the move to Barratt Homes’ Cringleford Heights development in Cringleford.
Nigel and Barbara identified Cringleford as the place to put down retirement roots due to their love of the area and interest in new build properties.
Nigel said: “I was raised in the area and love the location. We’re keen walkers, so being based in Cringleford is great as a number of parks are close by, as well as the UEA Broad.
“A new build home was the ideal choice as we knew there wouldn’t be lots of work to do after moving in. Both myself and Barbara, at this stage in our lives, thought it was important to have everything in our property as new as possible.
“We’d like to thank Barratt Homes for their transparency throughout the house buying process. The team at Cringleford Heights were not only friendly and informative, but were quick to answer any questions we had about the property.”
The family are now well established in the community and are enjoying their semi-detached Moresby style home. The property features four double bedrooms with an en-suite to the main bedroom, in addition to a downstairs study, an open-plan kitchen and breakfast area, plus a separate dining room.
Nigel added: “With our daughter at university and not always at home, we no longer require a big space to live in. The property we’ve chosen is perfect for us and our needs.
“We’ve found our neighbours to be very pleasant and friendly and we’re looking forward to seeing how the community develops.
Whether residents prefer train or plane, Blighty or Barcelona, Cringleford Heights is handily placed for both modes of transport. From the development, it’s under 10 miles to Norwich International airport and Norwich Train Station.
Highly-rated schooling options are aplenty, including the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Cringleford CE VA Primary School. There’s supermarkets, shops, restaurants and pubs close by to use at leisure.
Annette Hurst, Sales Director at Barratt Homes Eastern Counties, said: “Cringleford is a wonderful place to call home and we’re pleased to hear Nigel and Barbara have found the perfect place to downsize and begin their retirement in comfort.
“Our range of properties at the development ensures there’s something for everyone, and this growing community is the perfect solution for those in search of a peaceful lifestyle.”
Cringleford Heights offers prospective homeowners a nice contrast, with a beautiful rural setting complemented by strong urban links to the city of Norwich, which is just three miles away.
