Revealed – The Top 10 Cleaning Jobs Londoners Love to Show Off
To celebrate the launch of Samsung’s new Bespoke Jet™ vacuum cleaner, which helps users ditch dust for good, Samsung Electronics (UK) Ltd. polled Londoners to understand the ‘top 10’ cleaning jobs they love to show off ahead of visitor season –with ‘a clean and shiny oven, with the silver racks shining’ (34%) topping the list.
The survey reveals a ‘spotless bathroom, with shiny tiles, taps and mirrors’ (32%) and ‘neat and tidy cushions’ (30%) were ranked second and third on the list respectively, followed by ‘a perfectly clean and tidy fridge’ (30%).

Now that spring season has arrived, people across the capital are looking to get stuck in with various spring-cleaning jobs, including cleaning the windows (51%), wiping down the kitchen units (37%), cleaning the oven (38%) and emptying and cleaning the fridge (37%). Whilst the regular cleaning jobs individuals enjoy most are vacuuming (39%), followed by doing the laundry (33%) and cleaning the bathroom (33%).
The study also looked at the ways individuals in London are preparing their homes ready to host loved ones in the warmer months ahead. Nearly two thirds of Londoners (65%) are looking to prepare their homes, including deep cleaning the carpets (40%), cleaning garden furniture (38%) and buying a new TV (37%), followed by buying a new rug (35%) repainting the walls (33%) and replacing the carpets (33%),
The next big occasion that those polled are looking to host loved ones is Easter (27%), with Londoners looking to put on drinks (42%), host a garden party (37%) and organise a dinner party (36%). Whilst a roast dinner (30%), kitchen party (28%) and takeaway (28%) also made top of the list.
