Ria’s and ALL THINGS launch limited-edition Butterscotch Doughballs for Summer Menu

British dairy brand ALL THINGS and cult London Detroit-style pizza and natural wine bar Ria’s have teamed up on a limited-edition dessert menu item celebrating British butter, deep-dish dough and the quiet return of butterscotch.

This summer, Ria’s is giving butterscotch its main character moment. From 26th June to 24th July, the Detroit-style pizza and natural wine bar will serve a limited-edition dessert created in partnership with ALL THINGS: warm dough balls drizzled with a rich butterscotch sauce made using ALL THINGS Butter, with the option to have it poured over ice cream instead.

The launch taps into the return of nostalgic summer desserts, with classic flavours being reworked through better ingredients, generous textures and a little more craft. Butterscotch sits neatly in that space: familiar, buttery and quietly nostalgic.

The collaboration brings together two brands with a shared obsession for simple food done properly. Ria’s is known for its thick, fluffy, crisp-edged Detroit-style pizza, made using organic stone ground flour that’s fermented for 72 hours. ALL THINGS brings its chef-founded approach to British dairy, making butter the base of a sauce that feels indulgent, familiar and made for summer evenings.

Butterscotch has long been a British dessert staple, sitting somewhere between school pudding, seaside sweet shop and proper restaurant sauce. Here, it gets a more grown-up treatment: warm, glossy, buttery and poured over Ria’s dough balls, designed to sit neatly after a slice and a glass of natural wine.

The dish will be available for one month only at Ria’s Notting Hill and Soho in London.

“Butterscotch is one of those flavours everyone knows, but it’s rarely given the attention it deserves. Done properly, with good butter, it’s rich, warm and nostalgic without feeling old-fashioned. Ria’s felt like a really natural partner for this – their Notting Hill site is just down the road from our co-founder’s restaurants, Straker’s and ACRE, and their dough is already brilliant. Turning it into a summer dessert with proper British butter just made sense.”

The limited-edition ALL THINGS Butter Butter Butterscotch Doughballs will be priced at £7.50 on the menu and be available at Ria’s Notting Hill and Soho from 26th June to 24th July.
