Roehampton Sports and Fitness Centre will be hosting an Open Day from 10.00am – 4.00pm on Saturday 5th August. They will be opening their doors to the community, showcasing their facilities, and allowing the public to have an insight into what they can offer.
Aligning with Places Leisure’s new strategy, to create active places and healthy people for communities to thrive, Roehampton Sports and Fitness Centre aims to deliver valuable and essential facilities to its community. Opening their doors will allow them to further understand and deliver the needs of their local area.
Members and non-members are all welcome to visit the centre throughout the day, providing the perfect opportunity for members of the community to meet the staff and existing members. Staff will be providing a variety of activities for visitors to participate in, including mini sports and bouncy castle, family badminton and free taster classes. There will be opportunities for people to try new activities, get a feel of the community spirit, and discover all the fantastic services Roehampton Sports and Fitness Centre can offer. Visitors will be able to gain an insight into the centre and view the facilities in action.
