RSPCA appeals for homes for forgotten felines in South West London
The RSPCA South West London branch is urgently appealing for kind-hearted adopters to come forward for three overlooked rescue cats who are still waiting for their forever homes.
Each of these cats has had a difficult start to life, yet they continue to show remarkable resilience and affection. Now, the branch is hoping to find them the loving homes they truly deserve.
Meet Millie, The pint-sized explorer with a big heart
At just 8 months-old, Millie was found abandoned near some bins in a taped- up box, and has just a small stump for a tail. But her rough start hasn’t dampened her adventurous spirit.
Millie is endlessly curious, always exploring boxes and cupboards, and at the end of the day she loves nothing more than a snuggle on the sofa.
She can be a little shy around loud noises or new faces, but treats and patience go a long way to winning her heart. Millie is looking for a calm home with a private garden and adults or older children who can offer the gentle encouragement she needs.
Meet Missy – the solo diva with acrobat moves
Two year old Missy – affectionately nicknamed Missy La La after an aerial acrobat painted by Degas – is a character with true flair. While she prefers to be the star of the show (no other cats, please), she adores chin strokes and belly rubs, and doesn’t mind being picked up.
Shy at first, she will observe from a safe distance before venturing out. She’s never been outside but is showing signs that she would love a garden to explore. After arriving with some behavioural issues, she has blossomed under RSPCA care and is now a well behaved house guest. She is looking for a peaceful adult only home (or one with sensible older children) where she can continue to thrive.
Meet Davina – the gentle soul with a fluffy tail and independent streak
Also two years old, Davina is a playful and intelligent cat with a gorgeous fluffy tail and a soft, affectionate nature. She isn’t a lap cat, but she shows her love in quieter ways — from nose bumps to soft purrs during meal times.
Davina values her independence and will let you know when she needs space. She’s ideally suited to an adult-only home where she can enjoy outdoor access and build trust at her own pace with a patient and understanding owner.
The RSPCA South West London branch is an independent charity that relies entirely on fundraising and volunteers to carry out its work rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats. Last year, the branch found loving homes for nearly 100 unwanted, abandoned and neglected felines.
Can you offer Millie, Missy, or Davina the second chance they deserve?
