S.T. Dupont and World Chess launch an exclusive limited edition pen collection

World Chess, the official partner of the International Chess Federation (FIDE), has partnered with S.T. Dupont to create an exclusive collection of limited-edition pens to celebrate the FIDE World Chess Championship Match 2018, held in London. The pens will be available to purchase from S.T Dupont.com.

From the 9-28 November, Magnus Carlsen will defend his title in the championship match against Fabiano Caruana, the US challenger. To celebrate the championship match, S.T. Dupont and World Chess have designed a limited-edition pen collection, including a fountain, roller and ballpoint pen. The curation of the pens has been inspired by the Atelier Collection.

The master craftsmen at S.T. Dupont have incorporated a unique ancestral technique and displayed extensive expertise, in creating the selection. The collection has 1500 pieces and each pen is unique thanks to an identification number engraved on the side of the clip. Each individual pen design, inspired by the Simon Tissot Dupont’s atelier launched in 1953, is a chessboard pattern, adorned with black natural lacquer with meteorite dust and finished in palladium to display. The unique design is a symbol of the elegant and cold grandmaster calculation during the play.

S.T. Dupont is the official writing instrument of the World Chess Championship Match and is a prize devoted to all chess admirers. The pen collection is not only for chess players but will make an excellent travelling companion and will bring a note of distinctive chic into the everyday image.
