Saatchi Art’s The Other Art Fair is Going Ahead Safely This Summer

The Other Art Fair confirms it will safely go ahead on 1-4 July in light of the Government’s 14th June review regarding current lockdown restrictions continuing. The team behind the fair have worked carefully to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all. They are extremely enthused that the fair will be able to continue, with only some small modifications.

Having taken the circumstances into account, the fair will no longer be providing a bar onsite to ensure there is adequate space for maximum safety. This means that additional artists will be added to the line up so there will be more opportunities to buy direct from the artist.

The fair organisers are so excited to be able to host London’s first in person art fair of the year, despite challenging circumstances. 2021 is The Other Art Fair’s 10th anniversary, and this summer edition promises to be extra special both in terms of its unique and positive handling of the Covid-19 pandemic and in celebration of creativity and hopefulness which has endured throughout recent circumstances.

THE OTHER ART FAIR’S SAFER FAIR PLAN

· The Other Art Fair will be asking all ticket holders to select their preferred time of arrival when they purchase their ticket. This will allow them to manage the number of people inside the event and provide a relaxed and comfortable environment for all visitors.
· There will be floor markings, signage and event staff to help visitors maintain safe distances while enjoying the fair.
· They have increased the aisle width between artists booths to allow visitors to safely meet with artists and discover art.
· Hand sanitiser will be freely available, and all attendees, staff and artists will be encouraged to use it.
· There will be enhanced and regular deep cleaning processes before, during and after each day at the fair.
· Only contactless payments such as credit cards will be accepted. There will be no cash transactions at the event.
· If you are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, you will respectfully be asked to leave.
