Vanguard Self Storage has once again sprinkled festive magic over West London, as Father Christmas makes his much-loved annual appearance on the rooftop of its Ealing branch.
Visible from the A40, Santa’s annual appearance has become a familiar festive sight for families and commuters. At 6 metres long, 2.6 metres wide and 3.5 metres tall, he’s impressively sized, but tipping the scales at 1.5 tonnes suggests he’s nibbling more than the odd mince pie. What’s more, this year, the rumour is that Santa has rented extra storage space to house the mountain of toys his elves have been producing, thanks to the children of London being so good.
Branch Manager Kelly of Vanguard Self Storage West London said, “Santa’s rooftop display is one of my personal favourites
and is very popular amongst the locals. Every year, as the Christmas season approaches, we get numerous phone calls asking when he’ll be going up on the roof. It’s one of many things that sets us apart from the rest, and it’s wonderful to see how much joy it brings to the community.”
Perched high above the city, Santa offers a welcome moment of cheer for passing commuters and has become one of West London’s most recognisable sights that prompts seasonal smiles and selfies.
