Savage Garden rooftop bar presents Bitchin’ Brunch to kick off Eurovision
London’s most audacious rooftop bar Savage Garden is launching a brand-new weekend brunch on Saturday 13th May, for those who prefer their avocado served with a slice of attitude.
Bitchin’ Brunch is set to be one of the wildest weekend events in the city, with free-flow Prosecco, Bellinis or Hero Mocktails, and a ‘savage’ two-course brunch plus outrageous performances and brash humour from the capital’s bitchiest Drag Artists. With quick-witted comedy queens, a glamorous DJ and fierce lip-syncing acts, the monthly event kicks off with a warm-up to the Eurovision Song Contest on 13th May, held that evening in Liverpool.
While rooftop revellers enjoy the decadent décor and plush surroundings of Savage Garden and its unrivalled 360-degrees views up on the 12th floor, the bitchin’ will commence. The delicious brunch dishes include Sharing Platters like Spiced tapioca potato hash, fried duck egg with chilli paste and Cured beetroot smoked salmon, avocado and créme fraiche. Main Plates include Savage Eggs Benedict – Poached eggs, BBQ pulled pork, focaccia and nduja hollandaise; BBQ pulled jackfruit, charred sourdough, bourbon glazed poached eggs and Zhoug roasted celeriac, molten cashew cheese, purple sprouting broccoli, barberries, spicy crumb.
The host, comedian and lip-syncer extraordinaire running the provocative proceedings is Sue Gives a F*ck, whose catty comedy act will leave brunchers in stitches, while DJ Vivian Bam Bam is a master behind the decks, setting the scene with a session of uplifting tunes and Eurovision tributes. Special guests will include Sharon Le Grand, an east London sensation, Gucci model and star of Travis Alabanza’s recent Royal Court show Sound Of The Underground, plus Rhys’ Pieces, host of LipSync1000 – the UK’s biggest drag competition – which they won in 2018 thanks to their fierce attitude and killer looks.
The perfect setting for an entertaining get-together with friends, Bitchin’ Brunch promises a fabulously fun-filled start to the Eurovision weekend
