In keeping with the companys ongoing international expansion, Servca, the leading speciality Lloyd’s Broker, has announced the promotion of Macauley Geddes to Associate Director.

Servca, an independent Lloyd's of London Broker, develops unique placement solutions for risks originating from its global client base, using their specialist knowledge and relationships within the Lloyd’s and London Market. Geddes has climbed to the position of Associate Director since joining Servca in 2016 and developed a wealth of technical knowledge.

Chief Executive Officer of Servca Group, Noah Jamal, demonstrates his support for the promotion: “We strongly believe in promoting from within the company, and Macauley did an amazing job of managing the challenging learning curve. Given the frenzy of recent M&As it can be difficult to motivate and retain key team members. We are proud of what we have accomplished, and Macauley’s promotion being organic is a reflection of our successful culture.”

According to Macauley, working for Servca as an Account Executive and then Head of Wholesale has been a challenging yet gratifying experience, he says: “Since I started working at Servca in 2016, it has been such a rewarding experience.” He expresses his excitement for both his personal growth and what his success implies for the organisation as a whole. “I’m tremendously grateful for the management teams belief in me, and I want to express my gratitude especially to our broker-clients and underwriting partners for their assistance during this incredible trip.”

And that’s not the only celebration in the pipeline for Servca; the owner-managed boutique Lloyd’s Broker is only just getting started with the list of successes as they approach their 10-year anniversary in August.
