SFG Club and Roof East return this winter with the curl-est transformation yet with a “Curl Runnings” theme, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the classic film “Cool Runnings”.  It’s okay if you don’t want to say goodbye to summer just yet, as the tropically inspired roof will make you think it was still here — complete with a boating seating area and a bobsleigh or two to create the perfect photo opp.

Sliders –  London’s first ever curling spectacle (and not to be confused with the now very popular shoe) returns to Roof East from November 1st. The roof is complete with a glowing neon theme because everyone needs a bit of neon in their life a la Kim K. Also, lane-side hosts deliver yummy cocktails and icy libations direct to the lanes, so Sliders can fuel up as they curl for gold. They don’t call it “The Ultimate Adult Playground” for nothing. And if you’re West side you can also experience indoor curling as Sliders returns to QUEENS Skate · Dine · Bowl, London’s only permanent all-year round ice rink with food from onsite cult destination MEATliquor. Located a stone’s slide from where legendary author, J.M. Barrie first penned Peter Pan, curling at QUEENS Skate · Dine · Bowl is the Neverland destination for those who just don’t want to grow up. East & West, that’s what we call Curl Power!

Jamaican me crazy! The roof’s Curl Running’s theme pays homage to one of the best films to come out of the 90’s. To celebrate its 25th birthday, we’re going big. Bringing a slice of Jamaica to Roof East this winter, expect Sliders to be running the show with some special treats in store for those that hit up the roof this November and December, including the musical talents of a steel drum band. Listen to Christmas classics, against the backdrop of the London skyline whilst sipping on one of our delicious  Jamaican-inspired beverages. What could be more blissful?

Curling can be tiring business and SFG Club wants to make sure you can keep up your feet and relax with a cocktail in hand when the urge strikes you. Curlers will be able to take a moment “of cover” in our lovely tents, which are, as it so happens, also fitted with a delightful bar. Hot cocktails are on offer with a boozy or not so boozy Hot Chocolate (there is also a dairy free coconut version available) or Hot Buttered Rum, warming the cockles of your soul.

After you’ve warmed up, you might want to chill out a bit with a Winter Zombie or Apple Strudel Mojito. It does what it says on the tin. If you’re not in the mood for something alcoholic, you’ll be satisfied with a Curling Me Softly – a beautiful concoction of hot spiced apple juice and blackcurrant to satisfy those taste buds. We’ll also have the classics on offer, including mulled wine and cider. There will also be food-a-plenty on the roof this winter. Jimmy Garcia’s “The BBQ Club” is a staple of the roof and will be offering up a street food menu to salivate over.

With our friends at QUEENS Skate · Dine · Bowl we don’t plan on leaving our Western counterparts out in the cold this year either. QUEENS will play host to West London’s very own Sliders experience on REAL ice, ice baby. There’s plenty either to get stuck into this winter! Grab your tickets now, or be curled out.
