SHARE A STORY FOR WORLD BOOK DAY AT THE MALL WOOD GREEN

The Mall Wood Green has teamed up with World Book Day organisers to bring stories to life in the shopping centre this week.

Starting on World Book Day (Thursday 5th March) until Saturday 7 March there will be fun and entertaining story telling sessions taking place from 1.30-5.30pm on the first floor of The Mall, near Cineworld. Our quiet hour will be from 2-3pm. There will also be a session on Sunday 8 March from 11am-3pm, with a quiet hour between 11am-12 noon.

Samantha Davidson, General Manager at The Mall Wood Green, said: “In this digital age it is vitally important that we still nurture a love of literature and I am sure that many of us remember how wonderful story time was at school!

“Our sessions will be great fun and will hopefully inspire children to pick up, and get lost in, a book!

“We believe everyone should be given the opportunity to enjoy reading, or being read to, so the event is a perfect way to celebrate a day that is dedicated to literature.”

Why not do your bit for the planet and save money at the same time with our costume swap! Simply bring along a clean, gently used costume to our Guest Services Lounge, on the first floor of The Mall and swap it for another donated costume. If you already have a costume donations are still gratefully received and if you don’t have one to donate you are still welcome to come and collect one.

Plus, be on the lookout for our hidden books to enjoy and pass on!
