Shortlist announced for the 2024 London & Southeast Finance Awards

The shortlisted nominees across 21 categories have been announced for the prestigious London & South East Finance Awards.

Entering its second year in the capital – the finance awards, hosted by a partnership of Robert Walters, ACCA, HSBC, Mills & Reeve & CFGI – offers a one-of-a-kind accolade not only acknowledging but celebrating the exceptional work of local financial talent.

Winners will be announced at an exclusive ceremony in November. The evening will see over 800 professionals gather to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the region’s business and finance community.

Elliot Jackson, Director at Robert Walters London, comments:

“The quality of this year’s entries made whittling down a final shortlist an extremely hard task. It also means that this year’s awards will truly showcase the ‘cream of the crop’ of financial talent in London and the Southeast. With the competition at an all-time high – I await what promises to be an extraordinary night and look forward to raising a toast with our esteemed partners ACCA, Mills & Reeve, HSBC & CFGI.”

Chelsea Shelley, Head of Membership, ACCA UK comments:

“With the awards night just around the corner, it’s truly a pleasure to announce such a talented shortlist. We welcome another year of praising the achievements of first-class professionals whose efforts are too often taken for granted. We anticipate a fantastic evening of celebration, in honour of these inspiring individuals and teams in November.”

Matt Osborne, Head of Corporate Banking at HSBC comments:

“We are proud to be supporting the second instalment of the Finance Awards in London and the Southeast. It offers up an important chance to recognise the efforts of those professionals whose contributions make up the lifeblood of not only our local business community but also support the overall health of our regional economy. Early November will give us the opportunity to extend our congratulations to all these brilliant professionals in-person!”

Greg Taylor, Managing Partner at CFGI comments:

“From the inspiring leaders to the breakthrough rising stars, the teams have achieved so much; their expertise, dedication and commitment is what keeps the whole breadth of industries moving forward. We look forward to what is sure to be a fantastic evening, celebrating these outstanding finance professionals!”

Andrew Secker, Partner at Mills & Reeve comments:

“The London and Southeast Finance Awards grants a chance for us to meet the brightest sparks in the local finance scene – but it also puts a date on the calendar for a range of industries to get together, and share stories, ideas and experiences.

“If the shortlist is anything to go by, the competition for the crown will be high in every single category.”

All applications were judged by a panel of business leaders from across the region, as well as representatives from Robert Walters, ACCA, Mills & Reeve, HSBC & CFGI.
