Salon Privé London returns to the capital this week, building on the success of the inaugural Sloane Street Concours, which drew crowds to Knightsbridge on Saturday with a curated display of some of the world’s most rare and exotic cars.
The one-day Concours, held on 11 April, transformed Sloane Street into an open-air celebration of automotive design, pairing rare classics with their modern counterparts under the event’s ‘Old vs New’ theme. Judged by a panel of industry experts, the showcase highlighted the very best in craftsmanship, innovation and performance, offering a preview of what’s to come at Salon Privé London. The free open air Concours drew over 20,000 visitors to the famous shopping district.
Among the standout winners on the day were the Aston Martin Valhalla, which took Best Coachwork, and Automotive Artisans’ R33, was awarded Best Overall Design. Ferrari’s SF90 XX was named Best Supercar, while the People’s Choice Award went to the Gordon Murray Automotive T.50S. The Koenigsegg Jesko secured Best Hypercar, the McLaren F1 GTR took Best Track Car, and the Ferrari 250 California Spyder was awarded Best Classic.
The success of the Sloane Street Concours has set the tone for the return of Salon Privé London, which takes place from Thursday 16 to Saturday 18 April at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Bringing together the very best of automotive innovation, design and craftsmanship, the three-day event will once again blend high-performance motoring with the elegance of a classic English garden party in the heart of the capital.
Organisers have confirmed an exceptional line up for 2026, including new model unveilings, hypercar and supercar displays, luxury retail and fine dining. Highlights across the lawns will include a Koenigsegg showcase, a display of Aston Martin Valhallas, and a Hypercar Display, alongside displays from Maserati Club UK.
This year’s event will feature a number of notable debuts and specialist showcases. Encor Design will present its Series 1, a remastered evolution of the Lotus Esprit featuring a lightweight carbon-fibre body and refined modern engineering, with production limited to just 50 examples worldwide. Alongside this, Analogue Automotive will showcase its VHPK, a lightweight, driver-focused performance car built around a central seating position and engineered to deliver an uncompromising, analogue driving experience.
Fiat and Abarth will also bring a fresh perspective to the line-up, including the all-electric Fiat Topolino, offering a compact and accessible approach to urban mobility, while Austin Motor Company will represent a continuation of British automotive heritage, adding further depth to the event’s blend of past, present and future.
The Concours de Vente, featuring over 30 esteemed classic car dealers including Furlonger, Hilton & Moss, Joe Macari, Fiskens, Tom Hartley and Dylan Miles, will see dealers vying for the coveted Prix d’Honneur on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 April. The special twist to traditional Concours offers every visitor to Salon Privé London the opportunity to acquire any of the entries in the competition, there and then. Judging the Concours de Vente this year will be Thomas Howarth and Freddie Atkins. Alongside the Prix d’Honneur, the competition will also include the Pensioners’ Choice and People’s Choice trophies.
