South Thames Colleges Group (STCG), is proud to announce the launch of a pioneering Level 4 Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Sports Events Management, delivered in partnership with London Marathon Events (LME), a world-leading events management company behind major events including the TCS London Marathon, Brighton Marathon and Frankfurt Marathon.
Through the partnership with London Marathon Events, students will benefit from unparalleled access to industry expertise, with opportunities to engage directly with professionals involved planning and delivering an international portfolio of world-class sporting events. This collaboration ensures that the curriculum reflects current industry practices and equips students with the knowledge, skills and industry experience employers are looking for.
The course, delivered at South Thames College, Wandsworth covers a range of key topics including event experience design, operations, marketing, and financial planning. Students will develop both their theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, preparing them for exciting careers across the sports events industry.
