SPACEMADE ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF STUDIO Y, A NEW FASHION-FOCUSED WORKSPACE HUB IN LONDON’S NOTTING HILL

Spacemade, the UK’s fastest-growing flexible workspace operator, is thrilled to announce its next location launching at Notting Dale campus in Notting Hill.

Scheduled to open in June 2025, the new space will solidify West London’s reputation as a fashion business hub and marks Spacemade’s ongoing expansion in providing tailored workspace for businesses across the UK.

Tapping into the growing trend of providing industry-specific environments, the new location will offer flexible workspaces designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized fashion businesses, as well as fashion-related industries such as beauty, photography, PR, design and content creation. Located within walking distance from Westfield at White City, Spacemade will be operating an entire floor of over 19,000 sq ft for the landlord.

A campus where creativity takes center stage, Notting Dale features a stunning contemporary art collection by world-renowned artists such as Antony Gormley, Damien Hirst, and Carsten Höller. This vibrant hub is home to renowned brands like Monsoon and Dune, alongside luxury brands Stella McCartney and Phoebe Philo.

The introduction of Studio Y by Spacemade—a flexible workspace and event lounge— will further cement Notting Dale Campus’ reputation as a premier destination for fashion-focused businesses, offering a dynamic and inspiring environment for creativity and collaboration.

Studio Y by Spacemade will offer a comprehensive range of solutions and facilities, including private offices, coworking memberships, meeting rooms, as well as a flexible screening room and event space. Members will enjoy hospitality-led service and a bespoke events program, curated and delivered by a dedicated community management team. Designed to inspire collaboration, build connections, and spark new opportunities, Studio Y by Spacemade is set to become a dynamic hub for creativity and collaboration within the fashion industry.

“Our vision is to build a home where fashion and fashion-adjacent businesses, both small and large, can thrive,” said Dan Silverman, Co-Founder of Spacemade. “We truly believe people flourish in the company of others, and each connection amplifies collective potential. By creating a destination for fashion-related enterprises, we want to foster meaningful connections and new opportunities within this brilliant industry by bringing like-minded companies together.”

Each space within Spacemade’s UK-wide network is uniquely designed to reflect the local market and community, offering members more than just an office or coworking space. With a focus on collaboration and community, Spacemade provides professionals with an inspiring and motivating environment to work and build meaningful connections.

“We reject one-size-fits-all offices,” Silverman continued. “We prioritise bespoke design and individual communities to create unparalleled working experiences. This space will help smaller fashion businesses grow by building more meaningful connections but also by having access to state of the art facilities and equipment. There is a growing demand for workspaces that cater to specific industries and professions, and we’re excited to provide a destination that can become a central hub and support the UK’s fashion scene. We look forward to helping this vibrant community continue to grow.”

Peter Simon, visionary founder of Monsoon and Accessorize and the creative mind behind Notting Dale Campus: “We are excited to partner with Spacemade to bring Studio Y to the iconic Yellow Building at Notting Dale Campus. As a vibrant hub for fashion and beauty brands, this location embodies the creative energy and innovation that West London is renowned for.”

“Spacemade’s expertise in delivering tailored, community-focused workspaces makes them the perfect partner to further enhance Notting Dale’s reputation as a truly original campus for extraordinary talents in the fashion industry. Studio Y will undoubtedly provide an inspiring home for fashion businesses to connect, collaborate, and thrive.” Hayley Allen – Head of Property. The Landlord was represented by Frost Meadowcroft.
