To celebrate spooky season this October, Japanese X Peruvian restaurants Bamboo Mat in Stratford and Leyton have launched a special Halloween menu, available for just one week from 24th – 31st October.

For just £40 a head, diners can enjoy a delicious array of devilish dishes PLUS an exclusive cocktail – ‘Bloody Night’ – but don’t worry, it’s more sweet than scary, made up of vodka, lime, cherry, strawberry and grenadine.

This menu comes with four creepy courses, beginning with wild berry ceviche, seabass, sweet potato, cancha corn and coriander.

Next up is tantalizing tiradito yellow tail, with jalapenos and yuzu truffle soy, before succulent Karage crispy chicken with fiery gochujang mayo.

Hopefully you will still have room for the decadent pumpkin chocolate mousse – easily mistaken for a real pumpkin – but much more indulgent!

Any guest dressed in Halloween costume will receive a complimentary Bloody Night* with their meal so make sure you put on your creepy best.
