CarFest 2026 has a new addition to its Wigwam Stage lineup that is well worth circling in the diary. Flo Gallop, the South East London singer-songwriter who has spent the past few years becoming one of the most talked-about emerging pop acts in the UK, will be performing at Silverstone Circuit from 28 to 30 August. With CarFest making its debut at the home of British motorsport this August Bank Holiday, her set on the Wigwam Stage promises to be one to remember.
The Wigwam Stage has become one of CarFest’s best-loved destinations, a pub garden stage tucked within the BarFest Arms that trades headliners for something altogether more personal. Dedicated solely to handpicked rising talent and brilliant live sessions, it is where some of the weekend’s most memorable moments tend to happen.
Flo says: “I genuinely cannot wait for CarFest. Silverstone, a festival crowd, the Wigwam Stage, it is everything I love about playing live all in one place. It is going to be a good one.”
She has been named as one of Spotify’s Top 50 Fresh Finds artists in both 2023 and 2024, featured on the cover of Fresh Finds Pop, and added to major Spotify editorial playlists including Young and Free, Happy Pop Hits and POV: ur that girl. BBC Radio 1 Future Pop has supported her across all recent releases, and she was a featured artist on BBC Introducing in September 2025, racking up 255,000 Spotify listeners and 740,000 streams in 2025 alone.
On stage, she is just as hard to ignore. Festival appearances at Mighty Hoopla, Big Feastival, 110 Above and GoatFest sit alongside support slots for Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Netta, a spot on Allie Sherlock’s UK tour, two appearances on CBBC Saturday Mash-Up and three sold-out headline shows. She was also the official singer for the Beauty Awards 2024 and was invited to speak on the impact of AI in music at HowTheLightGetsIn Festival.
The biggest chapter is still ahead. Flo is set to release her debut EP later this year, produced with Nashville producer, Mark Siegel. Think, fun, chatty and unapologetically her, it is the fullest picture yet of an artist who has been building to this moment for years.
Flo adds: “This EP has been a long time coming and I genuinely cannot wait for people to hear it. Making it with Mark was one of those pinch-yourself moments. It feels like the most me thing I have ever made.”
Since launching in 2012, CarFest has raised over £28 million for UK children’s charities including BBC Children in Need, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Teenage Cancer Trust and Young Epilepsy. This year, CarFest will also be raising money for five charities local to Silverstone – The Pace Centre, Helen & Douglas House, The Smallpiece Trust, Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity and Northamptonshire Community Foundation.
CarFest presented by bp takes place at Silverstone Circuit, Towcester, Northampton between 28-30 August 2026. Tickets are available from www.carfest.org
