Squidsoup Reveal ‘Lost in Light’ 3-Storey Immersive Light Installation and Art Exhibition

Squidsoup – art collective and pioneers of dynamic light and sound environments – have revealed Lost In Light, a 3-storey immersive light installation in East London’s creative hub; Shoreditch. The installation will feature five individual exhibitions across three floors in the 30,000 square foot gallery, and welcome all ages from Friday 25 October till the end of the year.

Lost in Light presents an unforgettable journey of light and sound, featuring award-winning installations from the renowned collective Squidsoup, celebrated for pushing the boundaries of immersive art. Disappear into a world where light and music collide as you explore three levels of immersive installations. A symposium of the senses, dynamic lighting combines with electronic soundscapes to transform the space into a living, breathing artwork. The exhibition is composed of flagship installations from Squidsoup’s tenure – Circular Echoes, Infinite, Three Volumes, Sola, and Submergence. Each of these works offers a distinct artistic experience that blurs the lines between the physical and the digital.

Squidsoup is the sound and light art collective that has toured their living and breathing immersive installation to some of the world’s most celebrated cultural spaces and festivals since 1997, amassing viewers into the millions. Their work has been exhibited at International Centre for Light Art and Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, seen them collaborate with forward-thinking electronic music titan Four Tet at London’s Alexandra Palace and Sydney Opera House, and showcased at premiere international festivals such as Burning Man and Vivid Sydney.

For a limited time, Lost In Light takes over a newly-opened gallery in Shoreditch. Once a famed destination for London ravers, the site has now transformed into an immersive arts space. Drawing on years of vibrant artistry synonymous with Curtain Road and Shoreditch, the venue offers an accessible space for art, culture, and entertainment.

With programming designed for all ages and a family-friendly experience, Lost in Light is a place for all. Offering curated pop-up events, shows from the industry’s hottest artists and collectives, plus a vibrant bar, this is a space where reality warps and culture comes alive — a sensory playground that encourages everyone to discover their own connection to art and get lost in light.

A series of music events, DJs, and late shows with a host of eminent label and festival partners will be revealed for November.
