Stagecoach Putney Teacher inspires his students as he’s cast in Oh Mary! in the West End!

Stagecoach Performing Arts Putney is delighted to share the incredible news of one of their much-loved teachers getting to star in the West End!

Oliver Stockley, a Further Stages Teacher at Stagecoach Putney and Barnes has been cast alongside Catherine Tate in Oh Mary! A new play by Cole Escola at The Trafalgar Theatre.

Oliver plays Mary’s Husband’s assistant in this five hander and is loving being part of this wonderfully witty dark comedy. Oh Mary! follows the miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln, Catherine Tate, examining her life and longings in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination.

During his time at Stagecoach, Ollie loved working with the wonderful Further Stages team and students, and enjoyed every minute of preparing for shows, troupes and end of term performances. He also plans to return to share everything he has learned when the show wraps in July.

‘We’re so proud of Ollie on his West End achievement! Having recently taken the team to watch the show, we can safely say it’s one of the best tickets in the West End right now, proof that our amazing teachers really are sharing some of the most current and impressive knowledge with our students!’
