Step into 1950s Havana – ‘Paradise Under the Stars’ Opens March 2025
The Lost Estate, London’s masters of immersive experiences, unveils Paradise Under the Stars – a vivid time capsule of 1950s Cuba, where the revolutionary spirit and the golden age of the legendary Tropicana Nightclub come roaring back to life.
Opening 18th March 2025 at London’s Earls Court, the spectacular cabaret transports audiences into a Latin fantasy beneath a sparkling Cuban sky. A stellar line-up of passionate performers brings mid-century Havana to life, while a timeless menu and signature cocktails complete an experience that fuses music, theatre, and fine dining.
Renowned as the haunt of Nat King Cole, Pérez Prado, Frank Sinatra, and Celia Cruz, Paradise Under the Stars will whisk audiences to Tropicana – the world’s most beautiful nightclub – for its biggest event, the opening night of Corazón de Cuba (Heart of Cuba).
Every detail of Paradise Under the Stars has been meticulously crafted for authenticity. Embodying the spirit of Havana, The Lost Estate has collaborated with renowned Cuban choreographer Luanda Pau – whose mother choregraphed the magic of the Tropicana in the 1980s – to ensure the dance routines pulsate with history, love, and rebellion.
Keeping the world irresistibly Cuban, The Lost Estate has worked with a Once-In-A-Generation Line-Up of Cuban music artists including Yelfris Valdes (co-musical director) and Maikel Mota Martinez (associate choreographer) to bring the experience to life in spectacular kaleidoscopic fashion.
A mesmerising blend of rhythm and romance, the show ignites with live Afro-Cuban music, sizzling jazz, and intoxicating beats, creating a 1950s Havana that feels thrillingly alive. As London’s best-kept secret, The Lost Estate is fast becoming a haunt among Hollywood glitterati, counting Margot Robbie, Helena Bonham Carter, and Simon Pegg among those who have already revelled in its immersive productions.
A three-course feast inspired by the fine banqueting menus from legendary establishments of the era – including San Souci, Monsignor and the Tropicana itself – transports diners into a world where European finesse, American swagger, and Cuban soul collide. Created by Lost Estate Executive Chef Ash Clarke (formerly of Temper Restaurants, SMOKESTAK, Gordon Ramsay at The Savoy), the menu includes El Cubano (Traditional Cuban Club Sandwich), Lechon Asado (Mojo Marinated Loin of Pork), and Hoja de Plátano (Bream in Banana Leaf), alongside a selection of bold flavours that capture the essence of Havana.
Paradise Under the Stars brings the iconic Tropicana grandeur to life, inviting guests to dance under a starlit Cuban sky while enjoying classic cocktails from club bar Los Jardines, made with the finest rums and tropical ingredients. The menu features handcrafted drinks like El Tropicana, Club Mojito and a full daiquiri menu, served straight-up, frozen or – as Mr Ernest Hemingway once preferred – ‘Papa Doble’.
Eddy Hackett, Co-Founder and Executive Producer of The Lost Estate, said: ” At The Lost Estate, the audience is the star of the show – with Paradise Under the Stars, we invite you to step into the magic of 1950s Havana and feel the energy, passion, and power of the Tropicana Nightclub. This experience has been three years in the making, and now it’s time for you to lose yourself in a glittering world of mambo!”
The Lost Estate are the masterminds behind the renowned seasonal production The Great Christmas Feast and 58th Street, an immersive Jazz Age fantasy where Harlem’s soulful rhythms, Park Avenue indulgence, and Manhattan’s lavish excess unite in a spectacle fit for New York’s most legendary speakeasy.
