Dive into an unforgettable summer of music with The Mall Wood Green. The shopping centre is inviting guests to join them for its Summer Soundwaves event, which is free and will run from 26 July until 31 August.

Visitors will get to feel the vibes as they embark on a magical, musical adventure around The Mall. A fun, family activity for all ages, the Mini Maestros trail is a wonderful way to spend a day. By searching for hidden musical clues throughout the centre, guests can get their hands on some incredible prizes including £100 Diechmann and H&M vouchers, a Yamaha keyboard and £300 for their primary school to buy musical instruments. The Mini Maestros Trail will be taking place every day from 23 July until 31 August. Maps can be collected from the Guest Lounge and completed trail sheets returned to the post box in the Guest Lounge.

Families with mini musicians will love the City Square Musical Playground. Kids will be able to unleash their inner musician, get hands-on with giant instruments, strike a pose with fun musical props and selfie stations, and show fellow guests their star quality. There will also be surprise pop-up performances from a talented cast of local musicians. The Musical Playground will be open every day except the 15, 16 and 17 August.

And if that isn’t enough, RecFest – a free music and culture festival, organised by TheRecordShop – returns. The Centre will be playing host to RecFest on Saturday 16 August from 10.30am-11pm and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever before!

This all-day, multi-space event celebrates community, creativity and emerging talent with live performances from local and global up-and-coming artists & DJs, creative activities such as face painting and hair braiding, interactive workshops, panel discussions and food and market stalls.
