SUNSHINE ON A PLATE: MALLOW UNVEILS A NEW PLANT-POWERED SUMMER MENU
Plant-based dining just got a summer glow-up. From the team behind Mildreds, mallow is bringing bright, seasonal flavour to Borough Market and Canary Wharf with a fresh new summer menu – a sunshine-filled celebration of globally inspired, 100% plant-based cooking that’s vibrant, creative and bursting with feel-good ingredients.
Whether you’re planning long, lazy lunches by the water at Canary Wharf or want a punchy, produce-led dinner in the heart of Borough, mallow’s new seasonal line-up makes the case for eating more sustainably – and deliciously – this summer. Think nine-dish Market Menus perfect for sharing; knockout desserts and cocktails that taste like a summer holiday in a glass.
Market Menu
The new Market Menu brings together some of mallow’s most exciting new dishes in a generous, sharing-style feast for two or more. Priced from £38 per person, it includes a selection of snacks, starters and mains like charred leek bharta; swede and potato hash browns; Mojo Rojo croquettes; Kashmiri gobi, a roast cauliflower dish in moilee curry with cherry tomato sambol and saffron carrot pilau with apricot, almonds and pomegranate. Add a dessert for just £6 or make it a full plant-based pairing experience with a three-glass organic wine flight from Languedoc for £14.
Small Plates & Signatures
Elsewhere, lighter plates bring the bold flavours of a European summer – from a Catalan-style escalivada of roasted pepper and aubergine drizzled with paprika oil, to a crunchy rocket and blistered grape salad lifted with smoked almonds and punchy bagna cauda. Heartier mains include wild mushroom ravioli in sage butter and a golden fritto misto of tender stem broccoli, courgette and broad beans with lemon mayo; or a strawberry heirloom tomato fattoush with za’atar, basil and labneh. Enjoy alongside mallow’s extensive wine list including pink and orange wines.
Finish with that passionfruit tart or a layered chocolate and hazelnut mille-feuille then pair it all with a Watermelon Basil Margarita, Elderflower Mezcalita or low-alcohol Lychee Jasmine Martini, depending on your mood.
Available now at mallow Borough Market and Canary Wharf, the new menu is a timely reminder that sustainable, plant-based dining can be joyful, indulgent and totally summer-ready. To book, visit: mallowlondon.com
